Jason Lando

Jason is a 23 year veteran police officer who currently serves as police chief for a mid-size city in Maryland. Jason retired from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police in March, 2021, where he spent his last six years at the rank of commander. Jason previously worked assignments in patrol, SWAT, crisis negotiations, and undercover narcotics. His passion lies in working to unite cops and community through educational workshops and several innovative outreach efforts. 

Jason holds a master's degree in legal studies and serves on the board of directors of a number of community organizations. He is a graduate of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Leadership in Police Organizations. 

In his spare time, Jason is a "Big Brother" to 15-year old Jayden, as part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters "Bigs in Blue" initiative.
