Cristyn Zett has been a police officer since 2000 and currently serves as police chief in Ross Township, PA.
Cristyn previously served 23 years with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, where she retired in January 2023, as commander of the Zone 6 police station in the City's West End. Prior to her role as commander, Cristyn was a lieutenant in charge of the training academy, where she oversaw the basic recruit training as well as in-service training for veteran officers.
Cristyn is a graduate of the FBI National Academy (FBINA).
She is married with two children and comes from a family of police officers.
