Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is currently the Executive Director of Business Affairs and Administration at the Community College of Allegheny County. He was previously Director of Safety and Security at two of the colleges’ campuses. 

Brian is a retired City of Pittsburgh Police officer, serving his last several years as a Homicide Detective. He was previously a volunteer EMT and served in the United States Air force as a firefighter.

Brian has worked with “A Childs Place" child advocacy group as its Police Liaison, where he coordinated Child Line training for police officers. He has taught as an adjunct instructor at Point Park University and the Community College of Allegheny County in their Criminal Justice and Computer Information Programs.

Brian currently serves on the board of directors of three non-profits: The Pittsburgh Project, Operation Better Block, and the Pittsburgh Police Federal Credit Union.

Brian earned his MBA, and his bachelor’s degree from Point Park University.
